Global Education in the Heart of Europe

At AEP, learning isn’t confined to the classroom. With a strong focus on Central Europe and immersive education, AEP turns Prague into a living classroom. Held in our historic palace in the city center, classes bring together American and European students in small, discussion-based settings. With a focus on Central Europe, our courses encourage students to think critically, engage locally, and make Prague an integral part of their academic experience.

Learn from Experts Across Disciplines

Accredited by Charles University, one of Europe’s oldest and most prestigious institutions, AEP offers students the opportunity to learn from a diverse faculty of leading academics, experienced professionals, and public figures. With small class sizes, students benefit from close collaboration and meaningful academic discussions with professors who are genuinely invested in their growth. As an optional part of our program, students may also obtain a Certificate in International Economics and Finance (IEF), a great fit for students interested in professional or academic careers in finance, business, or economics.

I actually chose AEP because of its course offerings! And it did not disappoint. As a history major and lover of books, classes like The Story of Religion in the Most Secular Country and Kafka in Prague let me explore the city through my interests. The professors’ thoughtful assignments not only deepened my understanding but inspired me to keep exploring beyond the classroom.

AEP's academic experience was by far the best one I have had during my college career. The professors are all experts in their respective fields and genuinely want to see their students do well, which is very refreshing. What stood out to me was that I looked forward to going to class each day, which is something not many college students get to say.

The most meaningful aspect of the academic experience at AEP is the chance to study topics we normally cover at home, but with an entirely different perspective. The wonderful faculty bring an incredible amount of experience in their fields, and help you to understand topics you might think you understand from an entirely new perspective.
