Dali Tsintskiladze Laxton is a researcher at the Charles University Environment Centre and holds a PhD in Economics from CERGE-EI, a joint workplace of Charles University and the Czech Academy of Sciences. She specializes in energy economics, with research focusing on energy systems modelling, renewable energy, decarbonization, innovation in low-carbon technologies, and energy policy. Her work combines economic analysis with optimization modelling to evaluate pathways toward climate neutrality while balancing affordability and energy security. She has taught economics and econometrics at Masaryk University and has published research on renewable energy innovation and energy system modelling.
