Dana Hájková is an economist with extensive expertise in monetary policy and macroeconomic analysis. She has served as Director of the Monetary Policy and Fiscal Analyses Division at the Czech National Bank, worked as an advisor to the CNB Bank Board, advised other central banks, and held positions at the OECD in Paris and Česká spořitelna. Currently, she writes analytical commentary for the Czech News Center’s 11 AM Newsletter. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from CERGE-EI, has published in international journals, and has contributed to academic and policy debates. At AEP, she teaches a course that bridges economic theory with real-world decision-making and policy challenges.
