Ole Jann is an applied economic theorist whose work centers on the role of information in markets and society. Since September 2019, he has held the position of Assistant Professor at CERGE-EI (a joint unit of Charles University and the Czech Academy of Sciences). He has taught microeconomics, game theory and information economics at the universities of Oxford and Copenhagen, and has received multiple teaching awards. He leads the GAČR Junior Star research project "Data, Algorithms, Power" and served as advisor to the Czech Deputy Prime Minister.
