Dr. Vahan Sargsyan is an economist, data scientist, and product analytics professional with a Ph.D. in Economics from the Center for Economic Research and Graduate Education - Economics Institute (CERGE-EI) in Prague. His academic background combines empirical economics, labor economics, policy evaluation, statistics, and applied quantitative research, while his professional work focuses on data analytics, predictive analytics, data mining, product performance, feature adoption, and centralized reporting.

He is currently a Principal Product Analyst at Oracle NetSuite in Prague, where he works on cross-functional product analytics and data-driven decision support. His work connects statistical reasoning with practical analytics problems faced by modern organizations.

Dr. Sargsyan has also held academic and analytical roles at CERGE-EI, the European Commission's European Research Council Executive Agency, and the Council of Europe. His teaching experience includes courses and seminars in Microeconomics, Data Management and Analytical Skills Using Stata, Human Resource Economics, Energy Economics, and Macroeconomics. He has published research on labor markets, migration, integration, and naturalization, and has presented at international academic conferences.

In the course Fundamentals of Data Science and Data Analytics, Dr. Sargsyan brings together academic rigor and hands-on industry experience.
