Kraków, one of Poland’s oldest and most beautiful cities, is known for its rich history, vibrant culture, and stunning architecture. Its well-preserved medieval Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, features landmarks such as the Main Market Square, Wawel Castle, and St. Mary’s Basilica. The city is also a hub of education, art, and nightlife, blending tradition with a youthful energy. Just outside Kraków lies Auschwitz-Birkenau, the former Nazi concentration and extermination camp, now a deeply moving memorial and museum. Visiting Auschwitz offers a powerful and sobering reminder of the horrors of the Holocaust and the importance of remembering history.

Known as the “Florence on the Elbe,” it boasts magnificent Baroque and Rococo buildings, many of which were painstakingly restored after the city was heavily damaged during World War II. Highlights include the Frauenkirche, the Zwinger Palace, and the Semper Opera House. Dresden is also home to world-class museums and a vibrant arts scene. Each winter, the city becomes especially magical with its famous Christmas markets, including the Striezelmarkt—one of the oldest in Germany—offering festive lights, traditional crafts, and seasonal treats in a fairytale setting.
